This disk contains a self running SlideShow. It features a collection of recently completed pieces of artwork, created using the Macintosh.
In order to fit the whole show onto a single floppy disk, the data has been compressed.
In order to view the SlideShow the contents of this disk need to be 'extracted', and directed to your hard disk. Just follow these instructions;
1. Double click on the "SlideShow.sea" icon.
2. You will be prompted to 'Continue', and the SlideShow will extract itself to the selected hard disk.
3. Select the hard disk onto which you wish to place the extracted SlideShow, by clicking the 'Desktop' button and then clicking the 'Save' button.
4. When the extraction is complete, you will be informed that extraction was successful, and you will be prompted to click the 'Quit' button.
That's it! You will now have a ready-to-view SlideShow at the location designated on your hard disk. Just double click the "TRY ME!" icon, and sit back.
IMPORTANT
The extracted SlideShow requires the QuickTime™ extension to function. The show contains both QuickTime™ movies, and artwork stored as QuickTime™ compressed PICTs.
ABOUT THE SLIDESHOW
The pieces of artwork displayed in this SlideShow were created using the Macintosh. I have found that as the design and publishing world evolves towards computer based systems, that illustration prepared in a comparable fashion is becoming a convenient and logical option. Combining my experience of conventional illustration with the digital environment of the Macintosh has been very successful in helping to meet the creative requirements of my clients.
I still offer the choice of 'conventional' artwork, but increasingly the digital format has proved a popular solution. This has been for reasons of both illustration quality and the advantage of ready-for-print artwork, delivered in formats as required (eg. CMYK, EPS, floppy, SyQuest...what ever).
